This year we are working hard to make wishes come true!

$10,000 in prizes are available to be won with tickets priced at only $20.   Only 2500 tickets available.   Draw will be held on December 6th at 1pm at Class Act Dinner Theatre in Whitby.  All cheques to be made payable to The Children's Wish Foundation.   VISA, Mastercard and AMEX accepted.   Contact a Hearts of Durham member for tickets.

Big Hearts 2009

From February 15th to March 15th, 2009, Hearts of Durham launched the first Big Hearts Campaign with restaurants in Durham Region. Participating restaurants selected or created a menu item and donated a portion of sales from this item to our charity of choice. This year’s inaugural campaign was a great success and Hearts of Durham was proud to have partnered with 15 of Durham’s finest restaurants.

Big Hearts – Participating Restaurants   For thirty days this winter, fifteen restaurants offered up key items on their menus that would generate donations when ordered by customers. Thanks to our 1st Annual Big Hearts Partners:   (Ajax/Pickering) Mr C’s, Sauter’s Inn, 22 Church Steakhouse, Makimono Japanese (Ajax and Pickering Stores), Havana Nights, The Burbs Bistro & Bar  (Whitby/Oshawa) Nice Bistro, Pimentos, Bella Notte Ristorante, On the Rocks, Hot Rocks Diner, Shrimp Cocktail, Chatterpaul’s, Elstavros.    Special thanks to the Big Hearts team of Dana Baltovich, Lisa Fayle, Kelly Semeniuk, Melanie Polte, Kirsten Schmidt-Chamberlain, and all the other volunteers who made the campaign a great success.
