In 2009, the Hearts of Durham approached Andrew Shaw of Investor's Group to help develop opportunities within the community to extend its support and network and to promote the 2010 charity of choice - Feed the Need. The community leadership demonstrated by Investor's Group enabled Hearts of Durham to host its successful 1st annual “Golf Fore Hearts” charity golf classic.

Hearts of Durham partnered with three generous and unique businesses in 2009 to create a highly successful fashion show.   Fashionable Encounters was a consolidated effort between Hearts of Durham and our three partners.   It was a great night and one that we hope to repeat.
